hey crew
hey everyone. my name is chris and i'm a tattoo artist in upstate ny. just joined a few weeks ago and just want to say what a great site this is and how helpful everyone is. I just recently bought a 95 f-150. its got a 5.0 V8 4X4 extended cab xlt package. This is my first 150 but not my first ford truck. ive also had a 99 jalapeno green(actual ford color name) ranger and then a 2003 f-250. Loved that truck but a lot of high mileage commuting forced me to drop down and get a car. never got those ford trucks out of my blood though and had to get my 95 f-150. i just love the look of that generation. its pretty much stock right now but i have some big plans, only problem is i have champagne taste on a beer budget. i plan on lifting it, putting a new louder exhaust on, changing head and tail lights, new radio, subs amp and door speakers in, changing out the interior(mainly cause its a little stained), new rims and tires, and paint. but there are some mechanical and cosmetic things to take care of first, like changing the gasket in the oil pan(read up on that.. sounds fun..) fixing a leaky valve cover gasket, rear fuel tank, bad rust on the bed, some on the cab, not to mention a few other things. it will all be worth it in the end though. ill try and post pictures of the transformation as it happens.. sorry for the rant.. just really love this truck and im really getting into this forum! thanks for reading and hope to be able to help with some problems as well as being helped!

howdy, we all want it louder and higher. cars are nice, but you cant go shore fishing, drink beer, and party in the back seat of your car. The 96 and older f -150s are still some of the coolest rigs on the road. These were pickups that didnt have a fold down mirror so some soccer mom could do her makeup in traffic.

You'll be able to find EVERYTHING you need on here. There are plenty of us on here that know these trucks and engines inside and out.
And we're on here and happy that we own the best truck on the road.

Inaugural TOTM
Welcome to the boards!
There's no bickering over who's truck is better than who's because that was voted one long ago and I won.
Well at least for 1 month against 2 other trucks I was voted best.
