My first F150 in the driveway tonight.
Greetings all,
I just purchased my first F150 today, and I am so darned pleased I figured I ought to pass on the good news.
About four years ago I took a job with a company who provided an F150 Lariat as part of the deal. To make a long story short, I had to leave the job and the truck behind. (I hated the job, but man I really loved that truck) I was hooked. Well, it took me a while, but I finally got around to owning the truck that made such an impression on me back then.
So tonight parked in my driveway looking like it always belonged there is my 2004 F150 Lariat SCREW. 5.4L 2WD, Tow package, White exterior, Tan leather interior. 34.5K miles. Includes the DVD in the over-head for the kids.
After I brought it home, my wife's first comment was ...'ooooh, this is nice! I like this'.
I think I better hide the keys or I'll be stuck driving the minivan!
So, I wanted to thank all of you F150 enthusiast's for keeping me informed with your post's. Your post's have helped me become the most informed buyer I could possibly imagine.
My planned use for the truck is daily drive to work (32 miles round trip) and family tow vehicle. We expect to purchase a travel trailer soon.
Near term mods will include Tonneau, CAI, exhaust, and tunes.
(and the kids would like the wireless remote for the DVD if any one knows where that could be found)
So thanks again ,
Cheers ,

Wow, I didn't know that we were not supposed to teach'em to shoot.
Well that's our uncle Sam's fault, but I kinda like it that way, she can hold down the fort while I'm away.
I think I will keep the keys in a safe place.

Well Ive seen a few cases thru out the years that the guy probally wished he haddn`t taught her to shoot. But then they might have needed shooting. Anyway good luck with your truck they sure ain`t your grandpa`s truck .
