No, I have not. I was not sure if I could/should, so I erred on the side of caution. I will give it a go next time.

Just picking up on this thread - some good stuff here. Always looking for a good wax. For a LOOOONG time, I have always been a fan of Zaino products. They hold up like crazy, and if you want to go nuts you can get a crazy deep shine.

Does anyone here have any first hand experience comparing Zaino to Collinite? I've had Zaino hold up for more than a year on my old truck (I know I should wax more often but back then i was traveling full time for work, so spending a half day on the weekend waxing the truck was low on the priority list).

Have not used either Zaino or Collinite but have read lots of praise for both products.

As for waxing "more often" - a synthetic (also called a sealant) like those usually will hold up for a year. Carnauba (natural wax) is usually good for 6-8 weeks.

So I am about to buy a lot of cleaning supplies for my new truck. This was at the top of my list, but I just wanted to confirm what I have read so far in this thread.

I can use this on the paint, chrome wheels/bumpers,grille, and hard plastic such as the door handle buckets and bed rail caps, headlights? What about a Bak tonneau cover? If so, that would be awesome and save me some money on buying other products.

I finally had some time to myself today so I worked in a couple of home projects and cleaned and detailed the truck. I think for black vehicles there are some products that produces a higher gloss or a deeper shine but what I like about collinite is that it last a loooong time and doesn't take a lot of effort to produce good results.

TIFWIW obviously. Haven't read through the whole thread, but has someone else done a test like this?

I have a bottle of 845 that's been waiting to be applied for some time now. For a black gloss, what I've read is if you apply this and then 845 over it, it works beautifully for dark vehicles. Once I get paint correction done in a few spots, I'll know for sure.
