Warranty - Broken engine valve

Ford lawyer will make sure the plaintiff goes broke before ever getting the case to court by moving the dates back, so unless you got a lawyer working for free good luck. And even then warranty is expired... No warranty left... So yes do the American thing and 'lawyer up' you got a real shot at winning hahaha
I'd be pissed too if the dealer didn't try to help me out. I'd probably just tell the dealer that I'm going to Chevy, they can keep the truck, and I'd park it in the show-room for them.

It just comes down to principal. Yes the truck is 5 years old, but it's been through 2 or 3 oil changes. Thing's not broken in yet and should not need a new motor.

Funny.... I had a 98 Dodge Dakota R/T. It had 18,000 miles on it and 4 months outside it's 3 yr 36,000 miles warranty. I was in the mountains of Colorado and the rear end was shot (all the seals and bearings). Brought it to a Ford dealership, (the only dealership in miles) where they called Dodge and I listened as the service manager gave them **** saying "it only has 18,000 miles".
Dodge ended up paying for every red cent that Ford fixed. And I didn't ask for a thing.
My Dodge had many problems, but I can say their warranty work was always great.

Audi has a major issue right now with cam chain guides failing at around 100k. It obvioulsly wipes out the entire engine. They worked out a deal with my friend to re-build the engine for $2k.
Even so, if I paid $50k for a car, I wouldn't be too happy with replacing the motor at 100K, even if it is only $2k.
