Default Truck miss fires when going uphill?

I have a 2006 F150 Lariat 5.4 Triton with 170k miles. When I go uphill at about 45-60mph with 1.5rpm it starts miss firing and jerking. I've thought about spark plugs and wires and coil packs but I don't want to waste money on something that won't fix the problem. Any suggestions?

With the mileage you have, you are way over due for plugs and coils. Start with that as it is the cheapest route.

Lightbulb

Consider the following .....

HINT/TIP: You'll find posting in the
Late Model F150s > 2004 - 2008 Ford F150
section more helpful/appropriate than General F150 Discussion posts.
