So I have a 1996 forest green f150 v8 5.0 2wd auto with 150,000 miles on it. i went to a dealership and found a 2005 FX4 5.4 Triton 4 door with 20,000 miles on it for $20,000. What do ya'll think... Should I keep my 96 and build it up? Or sell it and go with the 2005 4x4 and build this one up???

 

the 05 for shure but keep the other truck for moral support lol

05' hands down.

 

I like both trucks, but the 05 is of course a lot newer and probably won't leave you stranded on the side of the road as quickly as the 96 will. Not saying there's anything wrong with 150k on the odometer things are bound to start breaking down. Plus do you want/need 4WD?

 

I would go with the 2005 FX4.

 

I just bought an 05 FX4 and absolutely love it! I say definately go with the 05!

 

Oh5 all the way. I say keep the '96 as well since you know as well as I do that you will not get much for trade in on it. Keep that and build that up and use the '05 as a DD/parts runner/off-roader.

 

Always a big fan of the 4x4's so I would go that way. I do like the 95 body style a lot though. Depends if you want to spend the money.
