Tranny shifts hard, no speedo tried multiple things
Have a 93 f150. 5.0 engine. Check engine light and abs lights on. The tranny shifts hard..once it heats up doesn't shift into 3rd unless get off throttle. I changed VSS in rear end. Checked all fuses that are common to problem. Looked at wiring coming from vss...looks good. I'm lost...what's the problem. Thanks

Thats true...and I should. But the wiring is not damaged, and it is in good shape so I was moving on. Does this sound like the wiring is the only option for an issue that would cause the problems?
