I know it sounds crazy but that is what I really want to know. My driver door rattles and they haven't been able to fix it. 1 year, 12K miles, and 4 visits to dealer and it still rattles over bumps.
So, they will order me identical truck 2013 and I pay $5K when it arrives. Sounds OK? I think? Or are they going to send it back to Ford and I end up giving up $5K I don't have too? I can't picture Ford giving me a 2013 for no money? can you?

Meh, your money and your truck, why not lol. If "you" are unhappy with your truck, trade her in! you are ultimately the one who drives it and has to listen to the rattle

5 grand sounds like a lot, but considering how much vehicles depreciate it's not so bad. If you've got the $ and no one to answer to, go for it! Maybe you can get some upgrades thrown in (HIDs, tonneau cover, etc.).

Check your states lemon laws before you make a decision. Seems to me like after multiple trips to the dealer and being without your truck while they try to fix it, paying $5k for the same truck one year newer isn't something I'd be interested in.
