You sir have been breathing too many 93 octane fumes!
"The answer, according to experts who study fuel efficiency in detail, is both regular and premium gasoline. And it would be a waste of money to favor premium over regular, especially in these times when gasoline prices are high, according to the experts.
Virtually nothing is gained by filling up with a premium or more expensive grade of fuel than the vehicle manufacturer has recommended, the experts say. And many of the same experts explain that drivers may not lose much performance from their cars by using a lower grade of fuel than recommended by the car manufacturer. "

On your average non aspirated vehicle, yes its a total waste of $
How did they put a 2.7 in a Tremor when it wasn't in production yet/

False. To claim the engine drivability and performance are the same regardless of octane gas is ignorant. Even if your disproven claim (by several respected companies) was true the amount of usable HP most definitely can be reduced running 87.

I have a '13 Ecoboost (stock) and have first hand knowledge that corresponds with the studies by an independent lab.

There are so many big organizations that have NO financial gain by proving that higher octane does nothing for you. It's only the gas companies, and people who will benefit from you buying premium, who make people believe they double their horsepower from running premium.
Marketing companies love gullible sheep like you.

Calculated by hand I usually get 20-21 on the highway using 87 octane. I gassed up with Shell Super Premium on a few runs across the state and got slightly better than 22 each time. Calculations were done manually - not with the truck's computer which is usually always off by at least 2 MPG. I didn't notice a difference in performance and I don't remember the cost but I do know the extra mile wasn't worth it. The book says 87 and I don't have a tune so 87 works well enough for me.

I guess if you believe in the brand of fuel you prefer you follow up your reasoning for using it with facts.
