Man that all sucks. Even when you are thinking they will fix it, then get it back and its not, has to be irritating.

Minnesota has a lemon law. Do research for your state.

I got relief in the 80s when a Geo Metro I had took a crap. The day the dealership agreed to take the car back, it was parked next to 7-8 others with similar mass air flow sensor problem.

Anytime I see 1 year old or newer vehicle on a used car lot I automatically assume it's a lemon somebody unloaded. I can't think of no other reason why someone would take the huge depreciation loss of trading in a vehicle a year old or less. And lemon law protection only applies to the original owner in my state.

The only mistake I see here is buying a Ford truck from a Honda dealer. Everything else is just a domino effect.

I've done this twice once because of issues, the other time I got good trade in and it was just to lower payments to get wife a nicer vehicle. I generally would agree, 1 year extremely low miles screams lemon or had issues to me.

Update 1 - Was contacted by whoever runs Ford's Facebook page on Wednesday. They escalated my case to the regional customer service manager. Today is Friday. Haven't heard from him/her.

Update 2 - Now the lock power lock on the rear driver side door does not work.

You got pulled over for 3 MPH over the limit? In almost all cases, that never will happen here because judges will throw the ticket out. They understand that there is a tolerance that must be given for speedometers in vehicles.

Transmission fluid level been checked? I've seen quite a few stories of "transmission shifting problems" that turned out to just be low fluid, even when the transmission hasn't been serviced since new. Check the fluid level yourself. There are instructions all over the web.

Sounds like that truck was the last one down the assembly line on a Friday afternoon. Good luck.

I'm not trying to say "I told you so", but why did you drive all the way to Ohio to buy a Canadian 2015?? Just how much did you save? did you buy the truck for $10k less than what it's worth? If you were my friend, I'd have stopped you from making this purchase.

Having said that, I hope you can get the issues worked out soon, especially the transmission.

Speed limit was 70. I had cruise set on 75. Police said I was doing 78. Twice.

Transmission fluid is full.

I purchased the truck because it was in the configuration I wanted, which wasn't easy to find. I saved money by buying a 2015 instead of a 2016, but I don't think going to Ohio or the fact that it originated in Canada had anything to do with it.
