How's your Box Cover

We get this question every day... the best cover really depends on what you do with a truck bed. Owning a accessory business I generally run soft rollup covers such as the Access Lorado or Truxedo LoPro. A lot of people love the security of a hard cover while I just want to keep weather out.

After a few months of conversation with Extang regarding my leaking Solid Fold cover, I finally received my new one yesterday. Haven't been able to install it yet. I'm just hoping that it doesn't leak.

I was looking at tri-folds but my wife got me an Access Lorado as an early Christmas gift. But I love the ease it offers. Have only had it on for a month but we have had a good bit of rain and so far everything has stayed dry.

I have both a roll up and tri fold and prefer the quickness of the Lund tri fold.

I've had to take mine off once. 5 min. off, set alongside the garage wall over a couple days on a rug and 10 minutes back on. Easy just be careful with it.

I put my Extang Solid Fold on last spring to haul stuff under it in bad weather and keep it dry. So far it has done just that, nary a drop on anything so far. Different story if sitting in a sopping rain for hours it will have 2 small spots of abut a table spoon of water get in. No problem with that small wetness a dish rag will wipe up. Stuff stays dry when on the move and the antiques and kitchen things arrive perfect. Most of all the customer is happy! I know a van could also do this but we're F150 users ?

Took it off in less then 5 minutes recently to fit a granite countertop on a verticle pallet into the bed. Set the top beside it and after delivery 300 miles away put it right back on in less than 5 minutes after unloading the 800 lb. pallet for the return trip.
