I kind of prefer the Sterling grey but I'm also Biased!
It sounds to me that the dealer played with the numbers a little. I hear it's common to get $13k off the sticker right now(I got 13k off 6 months ago). Although I'm sure it differs depending on location and the model you choose (I m in Canada and got a base XLT). That being said just slightly less than what you paid is still a smoking deal!

So an update for all those in forumland as if everyone was on the edge of their seat as to what I do. Decided against getting the truck....yet.
There are at least 10 identical ones within 100 miles, and the dealer is not going to budge anymore. The one they have only has the 18's and no tailgate step so it's also lower options. I'm fairly certain I can get a much better deal elsewhere. I'm going to wait about two more weeks, then it's dealer roadtrip for me. I've got a list of dealers that have 99% identical trucks, and I've drawn out a journey that will let me cover at least 6 of these trucks all within the Northeastern area of ATL. Total driving distance = 220 miles, very doable, I'm used to driving long distance. Then a few days later I need to go up to Charlotte, NC for some business stuff, and there are 3 more up there that are even better priced.
Don't much care which dealer I buy from, so I'm just going to go from dealer to dealer getting them to give me a better price than the last. NO BS, no service plans, no dealer coupons, just bottom line price. Whoever gives me the lowest price out the door gets my business. Make them battle it out. With almost identical MSRP's it should be pretty easy to compare the prices. I'll drop a deposit same day, pick up next few days. Sound like a good plan?
Will also be looking at a nice used Ruby Plat at one of the dealers. Let's see if it sways me.

Still considering the Plat, but not sure if I want to buy a used truck with the same # of miles as my current truck.... Not willing to shell out the extra cash for a new Plat....

I know you said that you don't mind driving to all of these places, but why no do Internet sales? That is what I did and some offer even more discounts thru the Internet sales team. Let me know which dealer you are going to in ATL and Charlotte. I got mine from Charlotte thru Internet sales.

What I did was call all the dealerships in the area, told them the model/options I wanted and asked for quotes. I told them I was paying cash, getting multiple quotes and the best deal would get my business. I'm sure doing the same thing in person would be even more effective
