i have a 1982 f150 with a 302 in it and i am running out of gas after 10 gallons. does anyone know what the size of the tank is or should be?

Should be about 18 gallons.

had an 86 that only read 1/2 tank.... kept filling it up after reading empty.... knew it couldn't be.. so I kept going till I ran out.... was only reading 1/2 the tank then was reading empty... read full when full, empty at 1/2... never fixed it... just watched the mileage either the sending unit... or the gauge I guess.
