Hey there Jay,

TSB stands for : technical service bulletins

According to the TSB below, you will need to take your truck to the dealer to try to reprogram your computer in order to get this problem solved.

2011 F-150 WITH THE 3.5L OR 5.0L ENGINE AND 6R80 TRANSMISSION BUILT ON OR BETWEEN 2/1/2011 TO 4/1/2011 SHUDDER DURING 2-1 DOWNSHIFT 5-7MPH (8-11KPH).

SOME APPLICATIONS OF THE 2011 F-150 VEHICLES WITH THE 3.5L OR 5.0L ENGINE BUILT ON OR BETWEEN 02/1/2011 UNTIL 4/1/2011 MAY EXHIBIT A SHUDDER DURING A 2-1 COASTING DOWNSHIFT TYPICALLY FOUND AT SPEEDS OF 5-7 MPH (8-11KPH).

USE IDS TO MONITOR FOLLOWING PIDS, IN_GEAR MODE,GEAR_RAT, VSS TO VERIFY IT IS THE 2-1 DOWNSHIFT.

IF THE SHUDDER IS ONLY PRESENT ON THE 2-1 COASTING DOWNSHIFT REPLACE THE C-CLUTCH (INTERMEDIATE) FRICTION PLATES FOLLOWING WSM SECTION 307-01 AND USE AVAILABLE SERVICE LABOR TIME STANDARD OPERATIONS.

IF THE SHUDDER OCCURS AT ANY OTHER VEHICLE SPEED OR GEAR CHANGE EVENT DISREGUARD THIS PROCEDURE AND FOLLOW NORMAL WSM SECTION 307-01 DIAGNOSIS BY SYMPTOM FOR FURTHER DIAGNOSTICS

That's it. Basically a TSB is sent to the service departments to notify them of a recurring issue, so that it cuts down on troubleshooting and repair time, mainly for warranty costs. If your truck was built between those dates take it to the dealer AND print that out or at least the title and number, in the off chance they haven't seen that.

Default Congrats on truck

I bought mine in Apl F-150 Lariat with eco 3.5 I too notice a bit of tranny reaction at times, especially taking foot off gas, at say 45mph, and there is often times a clunk. Will have to pay more attention with gear shift at lower speeds. My first full size truck, and I pretty much love drivin the thing.
