2014 FX4 supercab door seal air leak
My 2014 with only 12000 miles seems to have excessive air leaking from the door seals, front and back on both sides. When standing outside the vehicle you can hear and feel the leaks. One day I even noticed some silicone had blown out from under the door handles. When driving over 60 it sounds like the window is cracked or the door isn't completely closed, especially when using fresh air. I've tried pushing on the doors from outside and you still hear the leaks.
The dealer says there are some rubber flappers behind the rear seat, they may be stuck closed and the air has to go somewhere. I've tried driving with the rear cab window cracked and that seems to help a little, but I can still hear air leaking when standing outside the cab, even when the aft window is cracked.
Does anyone know if these trucks are designed to vent out the door seals, I would think there has to be some kind of outflow valve. The dealers taking a look next week but I have little hope in them.

Mine is a 2013 and I noticed that the silicone around all 4 door handles came out. That stringy translucent silicone. I hear road and noise from the wind while driving quite a bit. Not enough to bother me, yet. What rubber flaps are you talking about?

If you lie on your back under the truck and look up at cab back sheet metal there are cigar shaped slots with rubber flabs. Saw them while spraying fluid film lol.
