Be happy you dont live in Peoples Republik of Kalifornia. Prices are low right now at 3.70/gal. However there is a hidden gas tax that is supposed to hit us in 2015, jacking the prices between .16 and .75 a gallon.

Pennsylvania has the highest gas taxes in the country because our wonderful state government decided not to charge an extraction tax on the natural gas drilling companies, we're the only state that doesn't, and instead hit us with a highway tax which is on our fuel. But we're still not as bad as your bassackwards state... Lol

I don't pay much attention to the prices since i need it either way, I know i'm filling up 2-3 of my trucks once a week if its $5 a gallon or $1 a gallon either way i'm doing it.

In my portion of Alaska we pay higher then most of the country, but if you get outside of the main hub and move into the villages (no road system), you can see prices of $10/Gallon +!! so with that in mind i don't complain much.

that's one thing I dont miss about Europe...

It's $ 1.20 CAD / liter around here, not quite as bad, but still 20-30% more than just 1 or 2 years ago

this summer was horrible for gas prices. I live in Alberta, which should have easy access to a **** ton of gas, but one weekend in late June was $1.39/L for 87. That's $5.25 per american gallon. Now it's down to about $1.15/L or $4.35/gal. Still makes me shake my head that some people complain about $3.50/gal
