It's be quiet here lately. Has anybody had any luck getting their truck fixed? Any news from ford?

All this makes me nervous about buying an ecoboost... I have a 99 F150 right now and a 2013 VW GLI. Eventually want to consolidate to a SCREW Eco but I'm worried lol - this is craziness! Read through the whole thread...

Im having the same issue. I will be bringing the truck in soon. So far no luck.
The last time it was humming i brought it to the dealership and the guy just stood there and said "I dont hear anything". I will need to find another dealership.

Send me a PM with your ZIP code, bh2264; I'll be happy to provide you with a list of alternative dealerships. Also, I can arrange for a follow-up call from your CSM; just be sure to give me your updated mileage and a verification of your best daytime phone number when you send the PM.

How many people have actually called and complained to Ford? If enough people do it and tell customer service to document it maybe something will get done. I had a chat over the phone with my local dealer's service manager and that got me nowhere. If somebody spends 30-50,000 on a new vehicle it should have no squeals, squeaks, thuds, or clunks if it does it needs to be dealt with swiftly.

Well said sir. I have copied and paste a previous post from another user. I do no know if this person is still having issues or it fixed the problem. it was posted 2/20/2014.

Well my truck was intermittently making the vibrations and my local dealer could never duplicate it. After showing the dealer this thread they did put the following update in and everything seems fine. I do notice the transmission is quieter shifting. My invoice read as follows too.
Invoice lists as follows:
C/S THERE IS A GROANING NOISE WHEN PUTTING INTO PARK AND A VIBRATION FELT THROUGH CENTER CONSOLE ALL THE WAY TO THE TRANS COOLER
VALVE BODY
ROAD TEST R&I TRANS PAN AND VALVE BODY REPLACE
DRAIN BACK VALVES PER TSB 13-04-15 TOP OFF FLUID LEVEL

Qty 2 PN CL3Z-7D142-A, Valve A 682067
Qty 1 PN CL3Z-7Z490-A, Plate A 633277
Qty 12 PN XT-10-QLVC, Oil -A 487722

Has been 4 days so far and no vibrations.

Update. Last week my dealer was able to reproduce the noise while they had chassis ears hooked up to the transmission. Finally some progress, they acknowledge the noise is coming from the lines going to the trans cooler. Bad news is that Ford has told the dealer to pull the transmission and check the solenoids, not the valve body. The technician believes it is the valve body but is waiting on Ford to tell him to replace it. So it's been at the dealer all this week maybe it will be fixed by the end of next week.

Default Frustrated owner

Purchased my new f150 ecoboost at the end of November. Now have 13000 km on it. By January it started making a groaning noise after putting into park along with the vibrating transmission cooler line others have reported and video taped. Soon after that other symptoms mentioned in this thread started. 2) very noisy intermittent groaning shifts, most common in the 3-4 shift and also 4-5. Hear it sometimes on other shifts too but those are the worst. 3) intermittent groaning when shifting from park into reverse or drive.

Have had it in to my dealer 4 or 5 times. Told it's not damaging the transmission and that Ford doesn't have a solution yet. They suggest it's oasis special services number 44525. This describes only the groaning shift through park. -->. Does this oasis number also explain the other 2 symptoms?? (Noisy 3-4-5 shifts and noise after putting into park?). Is there any end in sight??

Unhappy 2013 fx4 vibration noise

I have the same problem, started out just once in awhile when putting in park, took to dealer twice could not duplicate customers concerns, Now it dose it all the time until it warms up, not as loud but you can feel it and hear it, looked on this forum found allot of good info took back to dealer with TSB-13-04-15 they crossed it over to and updated TSB-14-00-76 which is some kind of a test they run when hot and cold said mine passed and there was nothing they could do but kept checking back for a new TSB. Told me that it wasn't hurting anything and that I have 5 year power train warranty.

So I'm driving a 2013 FX4 with 7000 miles on it making noise all the way to work and back home.

CRYSTAL, What shall I do start a case with ford? that is what dealer said.

Any help would be great
