!!!!!1989 4x4 5.8 Charging issue!!!!!
So, first time ever on a forum. Hope for some good help!
New battery
New Alternator
New solenoid (spell check)
When I took the alternator in, it tested perfect. When i got the truck testing while running. It is saying Voltage regulator error.
battery tested good too of course.
I checked all grounds, battery ground checked, alternator ground checked, solenoid ground check. Also checked all misc fuses.
truck shuts off after started when I disconnect battery, thought it should still run for a little solely on alternator. thats generally a sign of a bad alternator i thought, but its a brand new alternator that tests good when I remove from truck to test.
My thought is bad connection somewhere but I have no idea how to figure it out.

There's are fusible links in the system, one of them is likely the culprit.
