Default Super Duty Bed

I was hoping someone could tell me if you can swap a 8ft box onto a frame for a 6 3/4 without to much trouble (Extend the frame rails obviously). would the wheel wells, mounts, gas tank filler Etc line right up.

Thanks

Ryan

Moving the axle wouldn't be too hard with some minor tools. You would need a longer driveshaft but it wouldn't be that expencive to have a new one build.

Finding a shortbed would be much easier unless you wanted to make it custom or need the long bed.

A long bed would have been nice if it was an easy build but doesn't seem worth the trouble of relocating the axle to me. Most of the time that a long bed would come in handy for me I'm towing a trailer anyway.

Thanks to everyone.
