79 302 ignition timing
I recently bought a 79 F150 with a 302 in it. It wants to backfire when I give it a good amount of gas. The sticker to show the timing is no long there so I was wondering if anyone might know what it's supposed to be. I imagine this is the problem as well as the carb probably needing a tune up. Thanks for the help.

If it were mine I would set a base timing of 10 degrees. There should be a mark on the balancer showing TDC. Use a timing light that has the degree **** on the back to set it.
