Default 33x12.5 tires on 1977 F150

Hey everyone,
New to this forum and new to the truck game. I've always loved old F150's so I picked up a '77 to mildly restore and use for a shop truck for my business. I've read in a few places that 33x12.5 tires will fit without a lift with no/ very minimal rub. Can anyone confirm this? The truck is 2wd so I'm not looking to throw a big lift on it or anything (although they look great lifted!) If I can squeeze some 33" tires in there without a lift, is there a way to at least bring the front up a little bit to level it out with the rear/add a bit of clearance for the tires i.e.: stiffer springs, leveling kit, etc? Any help is extremely appreciated!

33's might be pushing it more than likely will rub during cornering and tight turms. 31x10 10.5s will work use them on my 2wd bronco runs 33's with 2" lift
