Wheel well ticking 2012 f150
Hey guys maybe someone can shed some light on this ticking problem I've been having for about 2weeks now.
Been hearing a ticking noise coming from the wheel area while driving. It sounds like there is a stone or nail in the tire but I have throughly checked all 4 tires multiple times. I've jacked up both the front and rear end to spin the tires freely to see if I can pin point the ticking but there was no ticking when I did so. This brought me to the conclusion that the ticking only happens under a load (the truck). My truck has 38,500 miles on it. There are also no tears in the cv joint boots.
Any ideas would be appreciated! Thank you

yea seems to be most noticeable at slower speeds. At highway speed its hard to tell. There are more ticks per revolutionize faster the speed. I've listened to the engine didn't hear any ticking or anything abnormal.
