Default Truck is making a tea pot type noise.

I have a 2001 F150 with the 4.2L engine/5 Speed tranny and during the winter when I start it up it cold the truck is making a noise that sounds like a tea pot whistling when it's idle. When I give it some throttle the noise will go away and reappear shortly after wards. When the truck warms up the noise ceases. I sprayed some belt dressing on the belts because I suspected it was coming from a belt but the noise remained with cold starts. Almost forgot to mention that I have owned this truck since it was brand new and it only began doing it this year.

Could be a vacuum leak somewhere. Or if you have an Auto trans, they can make that noise until fluid is curculated.
