Steering wheel grinding sound??

Steering wheel grinding sound??
I noticed this morning when I was parking my steering wheel made a grinding sound as a turned the wheel back and forth, and the second time I parked it felt like the steering wheel stuck a little while I was trying to pull it into a spot. It didn't want to turn all the way without some force. Any ideas of what this could be??
