I change my oil as needed or when its blackened up. I like things clean even my oil.

If you are going to wait till every 5,000 - 7,500 miles I would use a magnit oil filter to trap extra bad stuff.

Interesting. Ford Quick Lane puts the sticker on the windshield at 5,000 miles.

It seems many of our fellow F150 Forum members have different options on when to change oil?
The Post may be old but, it still applies as long as Ford F150's require oil.
My dealer gave me 4 free oil changes per year and free tire rotations as long as I own the Truck. I want to emphasis I, as in me.

I had a friend who owned a Paper Company. He always purchased Chevy S-10 Blazers. He would never change the oil or do anything he didn't have to do.
He always told me the S-10 Chevy Blazer was a through away Vehicle. Use it up & it goes to the Junk Yard.
He treated his Corvette and Mercedes quite differently.

The Moral of the story is, there are no right or wrong answers.
Change your Oil when ever the Hell you want.
This does not represent Union or Management.
