Ford's filters have been made by Wix and/or Purolator over the years, therfore your statement is false, as Wix has made Ford's filters.
I like everything in that picture except the snake oil (the Zmax). I run Pennzoil Platinum myself in the daily driver, and Wix makes good filters. I run Motorcraft, Wix, or Purolator on everything I drive (including Motorcraft FL1As on my Dodge when I had it).

This is actually my first time using Zmax, and it was cheap enough for me to try at least once
After my change, my engine is more quiet with the new oil....could be the Placebo effect, but I could swear it runs better lol.

Troy32323 - How's about backing that up? That comment means nothing unless you can explain why it's not true.

Thanks for posting this. Good info. Again I do not know much about oil filters but i would think if anything this makes a good case to use Wix? Very similar but has more pleats and slightly larger filter

All that comparison shows me is that the filters are different. I can't see how it shows one to be better than the other.

Love the fact that with full synthetic all you need to do to these F150s is about 10 oil changes until you hit 100K miles. Not a lot of maintenance

Regarding the ZMax engine treatment mentioned above...usually sold in 12 ounce packages at ~ $20-25...manufacturer's Federally required MSDS confirms that ZMax is 99% (11.88 oz of 12 oz) mineral oil (used to soften baby butt diaper rash). So, the 'active ingredient' that makes up 1% (i.e. 0.12 oz) of the product performs all of the laughable enhancements that your engine oil designed by lubrication engineers cannot?
I suspect only the most gullible, uninformed buyer would purchase this product expecting it to perform anything positive other than titillating his/her placebo sense!
