Wix oil filter for 5.0
 

About to do my first oil change and cannot find a Wix filter for the 2015 5.0. I checked their website but no luck. Does anyone know if their is a filter that fits it?

The Amsoil site shows it as a Wix 57502, same as 2013-2014. Their references IME are correct.

If still in doubt you could always go with a Motorcraft.

Ford catalog shows to be FL500S which Wix interchanges to the aforementioned Wix 57502.

Use the Ford filter it's a better filter than Wix will ever make.

What is your basis for that comment? I always hear great things about Wix but to be honest I do not know much about either filter.

I only ever use factory products especially when it comes to service items.
Ford sells the products that are designed to work with what they sell and when it comes to warranty you can't blame them.
I would never take a chance on warranty by using after market products.

First time I have ever heard anyone speak poorly of Wix....I rarely use them, though. In 30 years of driving, about all I have ever used is aftermarket filters and never had an issue.

I ordered a dozen WIX XP Filters (57502XP) from Rock Auto...best price I could find, and shipping was about the same for 1 or 12 :)

Picked up a little ZMax as well.
