Steering rack on 2015?
#11
I don't own a 2009-2014 model so I have no interest in reading about them.

First off, if you're not interested in this issue that is fine, but I find it counterproductive to post how little you care. Secondly, thank you to everyone who has taken the time to respond with information. I have 2011 that had the rack replaced at 20k and am at 28 looking at rack #2. I love my F150 and if that is fixed in the 2015's that will affect my decision to buy one. If it's not fixed and it's the same supplier and bad set up I will look at purchasing a different vehicle instead. It is a relatively widespread problem throughout the 2009 thru 2014 build cycle.

Take it in before warranty ends. Turning all the way to the left and you'll get a noise that sounds like bad hydraulics, then the wheel won't turn. Mine migrated to both directions in a parking scenario. Now mine has completely failed. 2013 F150 with 59K. Should have negotiated a 100K warranty. I am learning in this forum that it is a $1200 part.
