I recently started experiencing this problem as well. Worked flawlessly for months, up until a few weeks ago.

I never said he was working on an 15-16 F-150. I said it was a demo on the Ford satellite receive problem and it gave the useful information about antenna cabling erosion.

I'm having the same issue down here in Houston. It's unbearable to listen to Sirius now! I guess good thing, because my subscription is over in a few weeks!

I've got the same problem in South Texas and it happens in the same areas every time. I've had the '16 F-150 since March and my dealer is aware of the problem. I bug the dealership every couple of weeks or so. Squeaky wheel and all that. It's annoying as hell but other wise I love the truck. My last truck was a '13 Expo w/nav and I never had a problem with it so I know it's the hardware in the new truck.

Just got my Lariat with the Sony radio. (And 2 weeks early - thanks Ford!) So far, the dropouts haven't been that bad. However, I discovered something very important. Ford uses the old Sirius platform for the satellite radio. This means that a lot of the channels over ~200, are not on the radio. I added an aftermarket Pioneer to another vehicle and it uses the XM platform so it has more channels, in the 300s and 400s. I know I can use my iPhone to get these channels but it seems counter productive.

On another note, there have been some complaints on other threads about the sound of the Sony system. While it could be better, the sound seems to be fairly decent and more than loud enough for me. I don't need to blow the windows out with base.

Overall, LOVE the truck.

Does anyone know how I can check on the status of the 'investigation' by Ford into our satellite reception issues? So far, I have to bug my salesman every few days but I would think there's something online I can look at to see if there's any progress. Here's the content of the bulletin once again:

Special Service Messages

45710 2016 - Expedition/Navigator, F150, Mustang, Transit, And Taurus - Sirius Satellite Radio - Audio Cuts Out/No Signal

Some 2016 Expedition, Navigator, F150, Mustang, Transit and Taurus vehicles equipped with Sirius satellite radio may exhibit an intermittent concern where the audio cuts out and the radio display reads no signal. Engineering is currently investigating this concern. Since this may be cause by multiple factors it is recommended to follow normal workshop manual diagnostics at this time. However, do not replace if clear root cause cannot be determined. To assist with the investigation use the Report A Vehicle Concern link at the bottom of the Oasis report and submit a Global Concern Report (GCR). Continue to monitor OASIS which will be updated with status on this investigation.

Don, I'm in the same boat as you are. I just bug the salesman, service manager and service/body shop manager every other week. (that reminds me, it's almost that time)
We just have to keep up the pressure.

mine cuts off as well. quite frustrating. Here are some things that I know will cause it to cut out.

Underpass
Tree or trees
18 wheelers

basically anything thing that obscure the signal.

Oh yeah, and sometimes when I am in the clear I will loose signal as well.

My sirius radio has had intermittent reception since buying the truck. It seems to be getting worse more recently, though.
