Thanks guys. Lockelamora, does the Leer top have gutters built in for the Thule rack to attach to? If it does that would look to be a great solution.

It has the grooves filled with rubber you cut out to slide their accessories on. I am not sure what exactly you are talking about though when you say gutters, I can take a closer picture tomorrow if you want though.

Looking at it again, do you mean the rails on top of the cap where the cross bars are being attached too? It does have a raised rail to hold the bars.

Yes, that's what I mean by gutters (I'm from the UK and that's what we call them there!).

Thanks for all your help, much appreciated.

No problem, another heads up...dealer had me get them attached when they are made. They are an add on for about $300 US or so, but like 600 dollars less than buying them separately.

Yeah I just ordered a shell and I do not need the roof racks, but ordered them anyway because of the steep discount. Just in case I end up needing them.

Great name btw, Lock Lemora. Gentleman Bastard would be pretty good too.

Thanks, I think you might be the only other Scott Lynch fan on here! Also, post a pic of your truck on this, I would like to see a picture!

I will once I get the shell, at least another week.

I am waiting for the movies, or TV series. I hear its pretty likely.

Not a 2015 but doubt that matters in this scenario.

No topper on mine, but I used the clip type rack on the cab roof to haul my 17 ft Wenonah. Did just fine for many trips. Rear was the Yakima truck rack things. Stabilizing the canoe from the front as well as the rear made it more stable in my opinion, so even if I were to get a topper, I'd still use a clip on rack over the cab.
