Bummer they didn't fix it. That's why I've yet to take it in. Any adjustment for the moonroof itself leaves one open for leaks. It didn't do this when I first got the truck a little over a month ago. Something is loose and I think a methodical breakdown of all the possible causes will fix it. The black bar has no adjustment screws I can see but I've narrowed the problem to something behind the accordion covers. Having looked at other makes of windows, sometimes the fix is as easy as a piece of tape over a bracket. I've put over 5000 miles on the truck already and the knocking can get to me after awhile. I think there's a common cause for this, even though it seems some have the problem when the windows closed, and others when open.

Thanks! I can also confirm mine is silent when it's vented or open. Noisy only when closed.

I've found the culprit! Removing the accordion cover on the drivers side you will see the plastic rail guide the window glides on. If you put your finger on it you can feel the part making the noise! How to fix, I don't know yet but at least now i know where it is... Will try and post a picture of the rail.

That's exactly what I found last night. I also removed the covers and if you simply push up on the glass on either side the knocking / clicking sound is easily reproduce. How to fix it is right.

Thanks for reaching out about this, you three; I'm here to help. In order to loop in your regional customer service manager, I'll need a private message from each of you with your full name, VIN, servicing dealership, current mileage, and best daytime contact number.

Hope to hear from you soon!

BINGO! Found the same thing this afternoon after lunch driving around with the roof open It's not the panel or the sunshade, it's the pop-up diverter, and the noise seems to be coming from the passenger side. If you bounce it up with your hand even sitting still you can reproduce the sound.

I'm heading out of town in the morning but will be taking it into the dealer when I get back to have it looked at. Thanks again to Brittany and Crystal for outstanding customer service!
