Truck is at dealer today to this TSB 16-0155 performed. let's hope it works. FYI I have been in touch with Transport Canada due to safety concerns and they are monitoring this situation on my truck to the point where an accident investigator may attend the dealership to observe the repair and report finding back to Ottawa.
Truly hope you get it resolved this round. Please keep us posted.

I will give Kudos to my dealer Maclin Ford in Calgary, they have gone above and beyond in attempting to help with this problem. This is a Manufacturers/design flaw in the vehicles. How this has avoided a Government Mandated Recall is beyond me. many people driving around holding a heavy door closed with one hand is a serious safety concern. Iet me be clear, I love my truck but am frustrated beyond words with this issue to the point I am considering trading out well before warranty expires because I am losing my patience with Ford and their 2 winter response to this issue. My previous truck 2012 FX4 supercrew was not in the shop ever, 0 issues. My new 2015 has been in for the locks 4 times now, also miss aligned rear door and power fold mirrors also not operating correctly. Great looking truck but I am beginning to believe Chevy commercials that the Aluminum body although well intended my jot have been the best design choice.

I am still curious how your dealer was able to obtain the new updated parts. This TSB only came out on 11/18.

My dealer ordered the parts on 11/21 and parts are currently at least 2 weeks out.

To be completely honest I don't know if they have the parts, I called them yesterday and they said bring it in so I did, I guess I will follow up today and see if they have the parts. I have gotten to the point where I Rufus to drive it until it's fixed.

I would be willing to bet they DON'T have the updated parts and are merely going to tell you to bring the truck back in when the updated parts have arrived.

What's the deal with your posts being in all bold?

Just had this done a couple of hours ago, we shall see how it works out. This was the first time they have carried out this updated TSB, hope it works out. Funny thing is, last winter I had no trouble at all.

Did you have problems after last winter? I don't think I would let a dealer fix something that wasn't broke. Just sayin'.

I live in North Pole, Alaska and bought my truck 9/5/15. I've never had any problems opening the doors. It was built in Detroit, not sure if that has anything to do with it or not.

Your likely not in a humid / wet enough environment for it to be an issue. When it happens to my truck it's when it's rained and they we get a cold snap.
