My dealer just laughs and says parts are expected in June! I like this truck but guess what time of year I plan to sell it? Ford saved a few bucks by not winter testing this vehicle but they have lost me as a repeat customer. I lost a few days this winter and my dealer had no loaners, they were all out with other frozen-out owners.

Try a large bucket of hot water. That I'll get you inside if you need to although you may be locked in forever...

I wonder who thinks driving a vehicle with Herc straps holding the rear doors closed is ok? Or holding the driver's door closed with your right hand?

Well for the first time this morning my driver's door would not power unlock or lock. Frozen shut. I had to climb through the passenger side door to get in. This is rediculous.

Same thing here. Dealer just scoffed and said yea parts should be in around March or April. Really? 3 months? Granted it doesn't drop down to cold here, but mine freezes around 20 degrees.

I know that there is a TSB for people that were in cold conditions and locked out of their trucks but I'm in Houston and its 60 degrees and when I touch the lock sensor on the door handle it does not work half the time. Would the recent TSB apply to this also?

Default No TSB's or Recalls listed for my truck

I have gone to this site and entered my VIN. It comes back with the following

Does that seem right? I am not sure that I understand the "Request was Invalid" message. Vin has been confirmed from both the window sticker and the truck itself. Any ideas as to what I am doing incorrectly?

there is a difference between the TSB and a recalls

they can be 1000s of TSBs but they only become recalls after the Government gets involved
look at the Takata air bag disaster.
I am a civic owner and received a TSB concerning the replacement airbag.
This occurred sooner than the government mandated airbag decision
hopefully, this made sense
