2014 chrome rear bumper rust??

I would use a wax or paint sealant on it after it's cleaned up. I would also see if you could get under the plastic cap adjacent to the rust spot as it's likely rusting at a mounting hole (or just plain old hole) under the black plastic and migrating out from under it.

Well No surprise it has come back. I am so pissed at ford obviously the finish is messed up from factory. Ridiculous on a $42,000 truck. I only have 10,000 miles on it and I keep it in insulated garage and don't drive it in the winter and even got it fluid film undercoated. If they don't fix it right I won't be buying a Ford for my next truck this is ridiculous they need to make it right. Is there any Ford representatives on here that can help me out?

They cleaned it last fall and this is what it looks like now. Look at the chrome finish and how bad it is. I really hope they take care of it and actually fix it correctly instead of just using Rust remover it will just come back. These things cost way to much for this kind of quality. The picture rotated for some reason
