only other real difference is the coolant sensors, the trucks use cylinder head temp for the EEC for the "Fail Safe" cooling, while the cars use coolant temp. The CHT sensor is a dry hole sampling on the driver side head. In order for my EEC to properly read that function in my car, my tuner just had to check that selection in his software.

Joebob, the boys here do have fun at times. As I have never touched either engine, I think you have a very valid question. What is the difference between the two engines? I think I know, its a stroke thing. Any physical appearance differences? Like the 302 and the 351W. OK boys have fun with me.

Is that something that can be re-wired or could you swap a car harness/computer in and get around the tune? Thinking about a top end kit and I didn't know about the cooling sensor till I found this...
Thanks, steve

The have different intake and exhaust manifold differ slightly. Also injector timing and apart timing may differ. My mustang had a Romeo 6 bolt. ( junk) now has an 8 bolt crank Windsor . Both engines can end up in any vehichle
