I would get a F-250/F-350 that had a diesel engine, I would go with the Cummins Engine, way better engine. I would not put a Diesel Engine in a 1/2 Ton Truck, The Front End/Suspension will need some serious modifying to hold the weight of a Diesel Engine, I will give you a website to check out for diesels, they should have some info on there for Cummins Conversions.
