Alright guys i have a 03 F150 with the 4.6L and thier is backfire coming out of the K&N intake and it only does it when its ideling or just cruising but when i get on it and on the highway it dosnt do it at all, one mechanic said it was my intake valve sticking but i hope its not that please tell me what u think

Definetely sounds possible, try running seafoam through the gas tank and through vaccum lines. That will clean out intake runners and such.

found out it was the idle control motor but thanks guys
