Default 2002 F-150 studders

Ok a short while back my 2002 f150 4X4 4.6L manual trans with 95,000 miles started to studder a little when accelerating. I first I thought water in the gas that is what is acts like but I have since ran 2 bottle of water remover through it and I can't seem to think it is a local gas source as I can't find anyone else with the problem so what things should I look into. It's not all the time so I was avoiding taking it to a shop just yet, cause running in town (where they test drive it) it's fine but some place like an on ramp it happens. places with long periods of hard acceleration. What are your thoughts?
Thanks Guys
Brad

Default

Eventually the CEL will come on to identify the cylinder miss. Once located remove COP and test and pull plug and inspect.

Default took a while

well it took a while but I finally got a code........it was just waiting on me to go on vacation....lol. I drove 1300 miles one way to go see family and BOOM CEL came on. Well it was the coil on the number 5 cylinder...130 bucks later and I was driving down the road....this truck hates it when I go home the last time I went home I lost the shifting fork in the transfer case......the garage said they had never seen one wear out that one cost me 600.00

oh well just glad it's fixed.
