What did you do to your truck today?
I replaced a door pin!!! Well sort of. The top part where it's groved just won't go in. Do I keep hammering it in?
I am prepared
Lucky me same thing happened to me last weekend, noticed a squealing, said to myself I need to fix that this weekend Friday night two house from my driveway tensioner spun off belt went limp and almost didn't make the turn without the power steering, easy 1 hour fix the next morning tho
I am prepared
luck was on my side
I've been neglecting cleaning my carpet, and after a heavy rain couple of weeks ago I noticed the floors along the doors were soaked, after removing the floor mats I was shocked to see that the mats had left a blacked print in the carpet where, I reckon months maybe even a years worth of stagnate water had been building mildew. quickly and with fear I removed some of the trim and peeled back the carpet hoping to NOT find rust, there was not any .
So I took out my bench seat, removed the carpet and began tracing my leak. Turns out the drains on, both sides behind the tire wells, were plugged with mud, AND water had found a opening in the "factory sealed" place where the front, corner panel, and fire wall are "Glued" together.
as for the carpet, wholly cow, I poured Simple green on it, scrubbed it with a brush broom, and used a pressure washer to wash out the stains, carpet looks better than it did before I had the water problem .
Oh I also replaced the rubber around the cab door openings, because I ordered them before I started the project, now the doors close like a Ford truck again

Over the weekend, in between spirts of rain, I replaced my drivers side vent window. Having no experience with windows, I was not too excited to begin. With the thought I might not get it back together right. Took less than an hour. Inluding swapping out the door handle while I had the panel off. Went the metal handle route due to my past experience with the plastic ones breaking. Window went in good & was very easy. Now I just need to get the state inspection and registration done so I can get it on the road.

The trucks Suspension will only change slightly by about 1 or 1.5 inches height in the front, i'm not sure what you are suggesting i need beyond getting an alignment afterwards ?
