Vacuum Leak Help Please
ok..........................i will explain this the best i can.....1988 Ford F150 5.0L V8...i need this truck runnin good really quick here my wifes tavelin long distance so im givin her the car for the week plus a couple days. Its the YELLOW vacuum line, i found it hangin around right behind the intake manifold. the green one goes to the EGR Valve and that one is fine..im just curious as to where this one is supposed to go. id really appreciate good description. ive been feeling around and lookin around under the truck around the back of the engine and everywhere and i cant figure out where it goes. i do not want to take my manifold off if i really dont have to considering id have to replace teh gasket. thanks for the help.......Mike.

Yellow goes to the third thermactor/top connector. The farthest one back/ above the valve cover, drivers side, almost to the firewall. Had to go out & get soaked for that one. (yes, it does occasionally rain in Ca.!) From there, it disappears behind the intake, I think to the Vac tree.

Good thing you came along when you did. My index finger was all cramped up! I wounder how he missed it the first time? "Oh, that farthest one back/ above the valve cover, drivers side, almost to the firewall!"
