Default Shock mounting bolts

I am replacing front and rear shocks and when it came to the lower mounting bolts on the rear, they just will not slide out. I've tried different combinations of jacking up the body/rear end, but the things wont budge.

Anything I could be missing or forgetting short of just cutting them or the shock out? Thanks

It'll be rust. If you can get the bolts turning, you should be able to get them out. They can be a bear sometimes.

PB Blaster, turn them while tapping with mallet or using leverage to push them out.

I used a torch and melted the rubbers. Slide right off.

Is it easier if the shocks are fully extended with the rear end supported or compressed with just the rear end jacked?
