Resonator Tips for Exhaust or Flow master Super 44?
Hey everyone I was wondering if I cut off my rear Cat and put a straight pipe to resonator tips if I would be legal in Idaho.....well or just cut off the rear cat and put a Flowmaster super 44...I know thats legal but more expensive than just some resonator tips so tell me what you guys think or If i am going about this new exhaust all wrong

i have a 93 f150 5.0L with a supper 44 flowmaster and a high flow cat let me tell you its loud i mean real loud when i pull up to my house the windows shake. without cats its gonna be even louder

it all depends on what kind of sound you want to get out of it, i have the super 44 on my 89 with a gutted cat, and yeah its loud but it has a deeper strong rumble where as if you just put resonator tips on, it will be real loud, it will be a lot more raspier, but i prefer it to sound stong and deep, its up to you and dont forget you get what you pay for...just saying

If you want the flowmaster sound but on a budget find a exhaust shop that can get IMCO's High Output. Half the price for the same sound. That's what we put on 95% of our shops dual jobs for trucks. I had one on my 2000 ZR2 blazer and it sounded great. Wasn't raspy and didn't pop. I have one waiting for when I get my headers on thats dual in and out.
