I would like to change my stock dome light to a light that has map lights.

Is there other Ford dome lights that would fit my 1994 Ford F150 XL without having to modify the truck?

if got one from a 2005 f250. i bought the truck like that i dont know if the had to modify anything but ill take a look tomorrow.

i've got the doobie lights in my truck i mean map light... came stock i'm pretty sure check out the junk yard. they have individual switches for each of the lights so it shouldn't be too hard to wire up just use your existing power source i've never had mine apart but i don't see how it'd be that hard.

You could make just about anything work as long as it covers the hole and you have a way to attach it.

My 1989 F-150 Lariat has a dome light just like that. Chrome with the map lights and an amber light cover, I think it looks cool. Very late '80s chic. Haha.

Im sure it would fit, but I'm keeping mine.

My 1989 Thunderbird has a domelight that is exactly the same except that one is plastic and not chromed steel.

They bolt right in if you can find one. I found mine at the wrecker. I actually just had to find a new lens for mine on the weekend. If you go to the wrecker, check the mid 80's full size Ford cars (LTD's, Granada's etc,), exact same light and they tend to be in better shape.
