Played with the plug wires today fixed the misfire found the fuel pressure regulator is bad so I ordered a new one. Motor runs smooth as a baby's butt. Motors almost all checked off the list then it's suspension ( outer tie rids shocks and rear sway bar ends installed ) check the brakes out make the seat bracket and replace the front fuel tank then it's off to the tire shop to get some destination A/T's put on it.

nah I got to weld a piece of steel to the seat track. The seats from a regular cab. The holes are wider on the supercabs. We are just going to make the the seat work until we can find the style of seat it came with.

no just no. Go junkyard hopping and find a proper set of seats. You do realize that the seat has to withstand the force of a car accident? No homemade bracket will do that. Are you really going to be that cheap? Park the damn truck until you find the proper seats

That is like playing Russian roulette

what do you suggest then? Drill new holes and tap new studs into the floor? And there are no 9th gens at the wrecking yards here. They are too old.

Love that site - best JY search engine out there.

Also I don't know about where you live but around me there are usually 5-10 trucks on craigslist that are being parted out.

Another good source of info would be to see if you have any local social media groups - out here we have NW OBS crew on facebook. Usually great sources of info and cheap parts.

Progress is pretty amazing so far. I don't think I would stick with the redneck repair on that tank though - yikes lol.

Replaced the fuel pressure regulator it worked. Now I get to redo the threads on the fuel rail because they came out with the bolts.
