Talking oook, im new so go easy... Jus bought a 1988 f150 and it needs work.....

Ok so im new to the site so go easy.... i bought my first ford ,, 1988 f150 lariat xlt.this is what i was told........
,88engine,`top" rebuilt using a `94. It got an antifreeze leak on top somewhere. And transmission has been changed to include an od that shifts hard.... the. First tank has been removed, the gas gauge does not work it jiggles at first start but then nothing. Theres more but thats enough for my first post, i dont wanna overdo it..ill show. Pictures when i get tear into it....any and all info would be appreciated..

Try and nail down exactly where the antifreeze is leaking from.
I don't know how they put an overdrive trans in there, but you will have to try to identify it. Google pictures of the trans oilpan and compare to yours - shape, number of bolts.

welcome to the forum. lots of smart members here.
it may be a bit complicated as some parts are not stock but the first thing id do is buy a shop manual. I find its a good go to.
