Default oil pan on a 1996 f150 2wd

I am just wondering if you can change the oil pan on a 1996 f150 2wd 300 6cyl without taking the engine out?

Thanks

While the engine will not actually come out you will have to unbolt the motor mounts.

Default Oil pan, no unbolting necessary

I did this on a '95, and did not have to unbolt the engine mounts.

I stuck a jack under the tranny, and jacked it up as far as I could without the truck leaving the ground.

With a little pushin and pryin, it came out. The new one went in easier than the old one came out.
