Default Speed density to Mass air flow, how hard

Okay, so I have a 95 f-150 with the 300. I plan on building a long rod 351w and know it can run with little tuning with the stock EFI system. But, I dont have MAF, so how hard is it to convert? Do I go and find a MAF 351w and take all the wiring from it?

Find a 302 MAF setup from a 94-95.

302's were MAF in 94? I thought they changed over in 96 too. So im guessing since the 351 is just like the 302 the wiring will be the same? Also I am guessing I need a computer for the 351w as well? I am and will run a manual trans with the new motor.

'96 is OBDII. There aren't any MAF 351s.

Oh okay, so what do I take from the 302 then? The wiring for sure, but do I take the computer, or the maf sensor itself?

Only 302 automatics had MAF, so you don't have much choice.

shoot. So can I still make it work with that computer and my manual trans? I am talking to a shop that takes the Mass air flow computers and tunes them to run the motors but will it work to the computer for an automatic on a manual?

I haven't done the swap, so I don't know much about it. Some use Mustang computers I think.
