I know you were using that, I was trying to be funny. Next time I'll try harder.

Test the TPS, maybe try adjusting it if it is adjustable. If the O2 is pretty old then go ahead and change it.

OH! sorry, I have a tendancy to kill a perfectly good joke.

For what it's worth, the truck runs fine. I just was playing around with the tester to see if it worked and if there were any in constant memory. I wasn't really troubleshootin anything but, now I AM concerned!

Anywho... is there any reason for concern on the "10= cylinder #1 low during cylinder balance test" ? I'm not sure what to make of that.....

I didn't even know it did the balance test as part of the engine running test since there's no way to get those codes through the engine light. I myself wouldn't worry about it but you could check compression to make sure they're all close to each other and swap a few injectors around to see if it moves to another cylinder.

Only if the engine has SEFI. Which is usually accompanied by MAF. That's another perk w/ a MAF conversion, SEFI! EFI's don't allow that test option. EFI's are left/ right bank rather than sequentially fired.

#1 is developing less compression at time of test than the rest. Have you done a dry/wet compression test recently? Although there are other possible reasons besides rings & valves. Much less serious. Look at the plug for beginners. The #10 denotes a test separation.

I'm leaning more towards it being a test separation cuz' there's no way I initiated a balance test, that I'm sure of...

Like maybe between the KOER & the CBT ? W/ a Code reader, the test is initiated by tapping the acceletator after the KOER completes. A full boat scanner can initiate tests. Whatever you do, God forbid, don't read the manual!!!!! I'll be able to tell if you do, cheater!! In fact, I'm thinkin there might be somethin wrong w/ that darn scanner! Why don't you just send it to me , and I'll give er a good look see! Shouldn't take more than a couple of months to work out the bugs. It would be my pleasure, believe me!

Well since we are talking about sensors would the stock CPU be able to work if I was to put a high lift cam like(.512 lift with a 235 duration) and a stroker crank with a 10:1 compression ratio

Only if the truck is MAF.
