Alright so my truck is behind bars right now for excessive speeding. Any advice on a reduced fine and or no fine. There were family issues and that's why I was going to so fast as I was worried. Anyways 111 in a 50 zone is what he clocked me at. Any advice? I'm sure I'm not the only one who has been in this lol

No idea on Canadian law. My ex was cited for 55mph in a 25mph work zone in Texas and charged with felony speeding, 25mph over the speed limit. The kicker was, she was having our baby! She was having our baby and gave birth at the hospital she was enroute to a few hours later. The work zone was on the interstate on an on ramp where the interstate speed at the top of the ramp was 55mph. Even with the hospital records, the failure of the Trooper to call for an ambulance and the the 30 minute on scene time, she was still sentenced to 30 days probation and traffic school plus the $500 fine. The court sided with the trooper because he did eventually let her go and followed her to the hospital. The court said "It wasn't like he arrested her, which he could have done". The attorney fees for a good attorney were more than we could afford at the time.
Point being, it may be cheaper to pay the fines and see if you can work out a probation to remove the ticket from your record upon completion of the probation. Her ticket never showed on her driving record or insurance.

My friend and I were busted going 130 in a 40. We were getting his sister from a bad party. My friend somehow convinced the cop to let him get his sister, and in return, show the cop the party so he could bust it.
By the time we got his sister and came out, there were 10 cops waiting to go in and bust the party, made the front page of the paper too. That was in MN though.
How much were the fines you have to pay, like said before, it might be cheaper

483 and nine days impound. I'm thinking if I go in there, tell my story, what kind of person i am. Maybe get a reduced fine. Because I don't think excessive speedin on a drivers abstract would be good lol

Basically my mom and sister had a fight while I was at work so I didn't know what happened. And my brother texts me as I get off saying he couldn't find her. Instant panic as I didn't know what the fight was about and not being able to get ahold of her by text or phone call. So I checked a couple places and put out her plate to the police to help just so I knew she was safe. Then we found her and I was just wanting to get home and it was a straight stretch. And I get pulled over
