Both are damn good mufflers, think you'd be happier with the flowmaster sound....but....if you want the sound of the flowmaster without the ridiculous price, get a flopro. Their built the same, all welded....nice mufflers, and bout half the price of the fm. I've got a couple on my truck and everybody asks me if I've got flowmasters on it.

for power and torque incremental gains I go with Flowmaster....I like the 50 series 3 chamber muffles..still have the Flowmaster sound without being loud...

FloPros are nice and I have them on my GM truck...they are okay but not the same...

most of that is due to the fact I am VERY picky about exhaust and I was never happy when the exhaust was put on the truck...it wasnt right and NOT what I wanted...but it's there....

I am thinking of putting a 2.5 50 series on the 4.9L...I dont really care for Cherry Bomb style glasspacks...I have never had good results with them other than sound...alot of times mileage and torque has suffered...may sound mean but power can actually fall off...

I currently have a Sonic Turbo muffler ont he 4.9L and it does very well...and with a tail pipe on it...it is quiet and very responsive...more so than the factory large-tube muffler

no cherrybombs, its the cheap way out, and there to quite until they burn out and then your back to basically no muffler, flowmasters are more i want loud and nice sounding, magnaflow i personally think is a "nicer style" i guess you could say

Flowtech terminator, use them on my big block, and cheaper, same design and config, I am anti-flowmaster, I cringe and then laugh when every car that goes by sounds like a mustang. Sound better than the flowmaster.

I'm personally a big fan of magnaflow. Had one on my ranger, i have one on my truck now, and at one point in time, I even had one on a civic! (it came with it. bought it used) on every car it been on, I have loved the sound. Its loud, but not noisy loud and annoying. My 351 has a nice low deep rumble to it. Every time I start it up, it puts a smile on my face and it reminds me why I like V-8's in the first place
